Our Department aims to ensure academic requirements to raise inquisitive and tolerant individuals who generate new ideas with an original perspective, representing themselves efficiently in national and international platforms.
In our Department: MEB curricula are applied and courses are supported by IB program acquisitions. Philosophy course is compulsory for MEB Grades 11 and 12, Religion & Ethics course is compulsory for MEB Grades 9, 10, 11 and 12. Psychology is offered for grades 10, 11 and 12, Sociology, Logic, Democracy & Human Rights courses are elective for grades 11 and 12.
In line with our objectives, reading, writing, textual comparison, discussion, analysis and interpretation of films, documentaries, photographs and cartoons are systematically applied. Students are encouraged to participate in national and international projects and competitions.
Students are academically supported with subject tests and question analyses for university entrance exams.
