Primary and Middle School Information Technologies Department aims to raise digitally literate K-8 students who are skilled IT users. The curriculum allows students to reach accurate resources and develop research skills while having the skills to solve complex digital problems.
Students and staff enjoy several fully equipped Information Technologies (IT) classrooms at school. Students also take advantage of these in other classes as well as during breaks for research, homework assignments and projects. Elective classes and club activities offered by the department include multimedia and Lego programming and students often participate in national and international coding activities. IT week is also a big hit among students where they explore innovations in the IT field, share and compete in diverse activities and contests.
The department uses the Ministry of Education Curriculum and enriches it with inter-disciplinary activities and various in-class activities.
All computer classrooms are located in A Block ground floor. The Information Technologies Department is locaded in 163-G and can be reached at extension 6350.
