Our main goal in Primary School Visual Arts education is to provide our students with general knowledge about plastic arts, which is a common intercultural language of expression and to raise individuals who have the perspective and competence to interpret different artistic styles and views.
The visual arts syllabus aims to employ hands-on exercises with a view to nurture the imagination, creativity and dexterity of our students, and help them improve their skills in using the elements of the language of painting (dots, lines, light and shadow, light and dark, color, texture, etc.) as they go through the stages of observing, analyzing, arranging, interpreting and creating.
Age-appropriate shape/form exercises, as well as hands-on and creative exercises in visual arts culture and museum awareness are designed for students to help them flourish in arts.
One of our major objectives is to ensure that our students become aware of their talents, explore what they are capable of and feel confident about it.
